Enhancements and Issues Addressed
The following enhancements and addressed issues are included in this release:
- Added support for monitoring services running on AIX devices. To support this enhancement:
- Added a new "Services" collection object to the "IBM: AIX ICDA Cache" Dynamic Application.
- Added two new Dynamic Applications, "IBM: AIX IC Service Inventory" and "IBM: AIX IC Service Performance", to the PowerPack. These Dynamic Applications inventory internal collection services and gather internal collection service performance data, respectively.
- Upgraded the PowerPack to support Python 3.11.
- Resolved an issue where the "IBM: AIX Error Report" Dynamic Application returned incorrect log entries due to a flawed time-window calculation. Error entries are now correctly retrieved from the most recent collection interval data. (Case: 00679779)
