This release includes the following features:
- Dynamic Applications to collect configuration and performance data about Oracle Solaris systems
- Device classes for each of the Oracle devices monitored
- A device template for aligning Oracle Solaris Dynamic Applications
- A run book automation policy and action for classifying Oracle Solaris devices
- A sample credential for discovering Oracle Solaris devices
- Event policies and corresponding alerts that are triggered when Oracle Solaris devices meet certain status criteria
Enhancements and Issues Addressed:
The following enhancements and addressed issues are included in this release:
- Added new "Oracle: Solaris IC Service Inventory" and "Oracle: Solaris IC Service Performance" Dynamic Applications, which collect the state of each Service Management Facility (SMF) service.
- Added a new "services" collection object to the "Oracle: Solaris ICDA Cache" Dynamic Application. You can use existing Skylar One service monitoring policies to generate events from the collected service state data.
- Added missing device descriptions for Oracle Solaris devices.
- Ensured that the PowerPack's Execution Environment can deploy on Python 3.12.
