AP2 NEW Interface vs Classic Interface

I am looking to determine missing items not available in the New Interface (AP2).  We recently updated our Development Environment to 12.5.21 and found that they are deprecating the Events tab in the text of the tab and on the page they placed a URL link to AP2.   Thus for us to use 12.5.21 we will be forced to move to AP2.  Thus I need to do a gap analysis between the two interfaces.

1. AP2 dashboards do not have the ability be secured using access keys and only support Private, Public, or Organizations

  1.  A user in Classic can login and be presented with a Classic dashboard only..  This is not possible in 12.5.21

    Hello Mark,

     

    We do not have a curated list of differences between the AP2 and Classic user interfaces, however, the deprecated pages banner is only visible when accessing the classic UI. The classic pages will remain accessible in the AP2 UI. For example, you can access the classic dashboards in the AP2 UI by navigating to the Dashboards > Classic Dashboards page.

     

    To address the specific example you provided, there is an active feature request to extend the access keys for dashboards to also be honored by the AP2 Dashboards, providing parity regarding access and security between the AP2 and Classic dashboards. I recommend submitting this to our Idea’s Hub as well to increase the visibility of this request to our Product Management team.
