Basic user Required for SL1 PF - SNOW OAUTH Integration. The basic user/password are unused by this authentication method but are still referenced by applications in the SyncPack. We want this basic user to be removed entirely for oauth integration.

Ref Case - 00729817

Basically for other snow integration using oauth, no where any other additional user being used.

We want to explore if any method we can utilize where we will be using oauth for sl1 PF - SNOW integration without any additional user being configured at snow layer.

Hello Debdutta,

Reading through the case you referenced, the TSE working the case has already provided a response to this question.

“Unfortunately, we do not have any other option that can be utilized without a snow user.

Even though the "client credentials" need basic user/password but they are unused by this authentication method but are still referenced by applications in the SyncPack.”

What is it you are trying to accomplish or what issue are you trying to solve?

Hello Debdutta,

Unfortunately, I still do not quite understand the ask. The configurations require a user in order to function. This is not something we can work around.
