Is there a plan to get also metrics retrieved from Cisco Intersight. The current version seems to be configuration and alarms -only type and there are several interesting metrics available through API, like temperature, power, cpu and memory.

This should have a home or a reference in the IdeasHub section.
There are no plans to update the Cisco Intersight PowerPack at this time, but we will look to add new metrics in the future.
I have inquired internally to locate some feedback here.
