Hi to all, we configured a Global Manager in our QA env for 2 stacks but there is something that it's not really clear to me.
The global manager is not capable to manage PP on the stacks (in AP2 UI there is any menu entry for PP), is not capable to retrieve device groups defined on the stacks, is not capable to retrieve device class from the stack, is not possible create device groups and add devices monitored by the stacks.

My first question is: how can we create a dashboard that can filter panels based on custom device group?

I reply to myself. It's possible i was just using a wrong group name so panels were empty. To be exact, in my case, was the collector group name. So, for example, a filter like
collectorGroup has (name contains 'QA-CUG-2') and deviceClass has (logicalName contains  'data collector') works

Hello MauroL,

I am the Product Manager for Global Manager. We have some work in Engineering that will help you, and I am gathering requirements for the next block of work on expanding on globally managing configuration. I: will ask your Customer Success Manager to schedule a call where we can discuss your requirements and the current roadmap for Global Manager.

Thanks, Jonathan Chivers

@MauroL With our Community portal once again live it’s unclear whether you were able to get resolution to your original inquiries. As your original post included multiple separate inquiries I’ll aim to respond to each.

Global Manager does not, at present, provision a UI for PowerPack management as the appliance has been positioned for global viewing of devices, events, and services leaving management (in particular of devices and services) to the child stack administration. While there has been recent work towards introducing GQL support for PowerPack stack difference identification, upload, and pushing to child stacks there will be no immediate UI support within Global Manager.

I see you had responded to your original post with was appears to be a confirmation that you resolved your inquiry regarding searching based on Collector Group name and device class. Can you confirm that was your concern and resolution?
