There is any plans from to implement the grouping for interfaces .i:e I need to group the interface where the alias name contains or starts with MSP . Basically this will help for reporting , dashboarding and applying template only to specific set of interfaces.

Yes. We do intent to introduce interface groups and templates. There is an idea in Idea Hub, Customize the interface configuration when discovering trunk ports,
to which you can upvote and add the specific attributes you wish to use for matching as well as the interface properties or setting you intend to alter.

We did this using interface tag name. We identified interfaces using a tag name and then pulled that field in a custom report and custom widget. But that was old interface
