SL1 Licensing

We are looking to update our expiring SL1 license but awaiting a maintenance window. What will happen if the license expires in SL1? Also, what does the system do if we happen burst above the current allowed license count?

    Hello, 

    When the license expires, there is a grace period of 90 days. After that grace period, SL1 processes will stop running. The Automation Engine, Event Engine, and Data Pull processes will all be stopped and not restarted until a new license is applied. 

    Once you exceed your license count, you will be unable to discover new devices. If you attempt to discover new devices via the discovery process, you will see an error stating you have reached your device limit.
