Validity of Known Issues in Release Notes

I am just browsing through release notes of latest Skylar 12.5.* and found out some interesting issues like

In the Skylar One user interface, the End User License Agreement (EULA) page is displayed on all
pages that were iframed from the classic user interface, even after the user agrees to the EULA. This

Ok that sounds pretty nasty for users. So I sent a question directly to SL people and learnt that this was an issue in AP2 Gelato, fixed in Ice-Pop, and this known issue has been on the list at list from 12.5.8 to 12.5.22. 

I then checked some other issues also and also them were closed already internally. So the discussion here should be like where could we get updated known issues list for each release version, hopefully on a table format which clearly explains which version has that issue and in which version it is fixed or is it actually still an issue. 

For example that EULA issue is not listed on support’s known issue list at all, so what should one think, is that still an issue or not?

Also when nowadays you have separated core and AP2 updates/packages I would then list those issues (and also new features) separately, for example this 12.5.22 release notes only lists those issues that are in core part and then have a link to correct AP2 version release notes where you can see issue in that part. Anyway the reality is whenever the core version is updated then at same time the AP2 will be updated also, and now understanding what new things / issues are in each update set is pretty difficult

    Rest assured, we do check existing known issues for every Skylar One release and remove any that have been fixed. The specific one you pointed out was due to internal teams not syncing on that particular issue, as the ticket we were tracking for it still shows it as an outstanding issue. I will remove it going forward. I have also added an item to my to-do list to go through the existing known issues with a fine-tooth comb to locate any others that might be in a similar scenario.

    With regards to AP2, we always include AP2-specific items in any Skylar One release that has a new version of AP2 pinned to it. So, for example, Skylar One 12.5.1 had AP2 Mochi pinned to it. The next time an AP2 version was pinned to a Skylar One release was in Skylar One 12.5.20, which had AP2 Pancake pinned. So in the Skylar One 12.5.20 release notes, in addition to the updates to the core platform for that release, we also included in the release notes everything that was net-new in the AP2 releases between Mochi and Pancake--all of the features, enhancements, and addressed issues from AP2 Nougat, Opera Cake, and Pancake--because those items would be new to any user who hadn’t installed the standalone AP2 releases. The 12.5.22 release still has Pancake pinned to it, so there are no additional AP2 updates reflected in those release notes. I hope that helps you understand our process!
