Skylar automation
Hi,
When using the link below to search for Skylar Automation information, it is currently not possible to filter by Skylar Automation versions (e.g., 2.7.x, 3.0.x, 3.3.x). The only version details provided relate to Skylar One (e.g., 12.2, 12.3), which creates ambiguity.
Since Skylar Automation is decoupled from Skylar One releases, it should be possible to filter by its own versions rather than those of another product.
Could you please adapt the versioning to allow filtering by Skylar Automation versions?
I think this is also applicable for other products.
Thanks
Alfred
Hi Alfred_Heijkoop. Thanks for the feedback and for this question. The Documentation has been discussing this very issue for the past few months, and we've been planning out a way to break up our docs into smaller, standalone docs site (like we currently do with Skylar Compliance (formerly Restorepoint)) but with the ability to filter by product version like we do for Skylar One.
I will note that if you go to a previous version of the Help for Skylar One, like 12.2, you will be able to access Skylar Automation (PowerFlow) version 3.0.0 docs: https://docs.sciencelogic.com/12-2-0/Content/Web_Content_Dev_and_Integration/IS_Platform/is_platform_introduction.htm
But if you want a specific version for now (until we have time to re-architect our docs sites in the coming weeks/months), you can access any of the PDF manuals, using the following format:
https://docs.sciencelogic.com/pdf/sciencelogic_skylar_automation_3-3-0.pdf
Just replace the "3-3-0" in the above URL with 3-1-0 or 2-7-0 or the specific version number, in x-x-x format.
Our plan is to break out the sites by product, which you could hopefully sort by version: Skylar One, Skylar Automation (and probably SyncPacks), Skylar Compliance, Skylar AI (Analytics and Advisor), PowerPacks, Skylar Studio, and so on.
We'll keep you posted of our progress here: Group: Product Documentation | Nexus ScienceLogic Community
Thanks!
Mike
