Oracle: Database v106 Powerpack Release Notification

We are pleased to announce that the Oracle: Database v106 PowerPack has been released. The download for this release can be found on the Support Portal under the PowerPack filename:

The following enhancements and addressed issues are included this release of the Oracle: Database v106 PowerPack:

    • Converted PowerPack from Python 2.7 to Python 3.6.
    • Added support for Transport Layer Security (TLS) over TCP (TCPS).
    • "Oracle: DB Data Guard Gap Stats"
      1. Tuned the query for this Dynamic Application.
    • Added new Dynamic Applications:
      1. "Oracle: DB ASM Discovery".
      2. "Oracle: DB ASM Diskgroup Stats".
      3. "Oracle: DB ASM Disks Config".
      4. "Oracle: DB ASM Disks Stats".
    • Updated Dynamic Applications:
      1. "Oracle: DB Tablespace Stats".
    • Updated "Oracle: DB ASM Diskgroup Config" and "Oracle DB ASM Instance Config" Dynamic Applications:
      1. The "Oracle: DB ASM Diskgroup Config" and "Oracle DB ASM Instance Config" Dynamic Applications have been updated.
      2. The previous versions of these Dynamic Applications have been renamed to "Oracle: DB ASM Diskgroup Config (moved)" and "Oracle DB ASM Instance Config (moved)". These older versions are now disabled by default.
      3. The "(moved)" versions will be completely removed in a future release of this PowerPack.
    • "Oracle: DB RAC Disk Group Space Stats" Operation State is now disabled by default, because it collects the same data as "Oracle: DB ASM Diskgroup Stats".
    • All PowerPack Run Book Actions now include a new option: ssl_verify. By default, ssl_verify is set to False. To enable SSL verification set this option to True.
    • Removed Run Book Action: “Oracle: DB ASM Dynamic Application Alignment”.
    • Removed Run Book Automation: “Oracle: DB ASM Dynamic Application Alignment”.
    • Removed Event: “Oracle: DB ASM Dynamic Application Alignment Required”.
    • Updated expiry time from 15 minutes to 30 minutes for the following events:
      1. Oracle: DB Archived FileSystem: No file system data found.
      2. Oracle: DB Device Classification Required.
      3. Oracle: DB Dynamic Application Alignment Required.
      4. Oracle: DB Instance Device Classification Required.
      5. Oracle: DB Instances are not running on the server.
      6. Oracle: DB Log Entry.
      7. Oracle: DB non CDB Dynamic Application Alignment Required.
      8. Oracle: DB Non-Archived FileSystem: No file system data found.
    • The following Events were added to the PowerPack:
      • Oracle: DB Disk Group has connected state.
      • Oracle: DB Disk Group has critical state.
      • Oracle: DB Disk Group has major state.
      • Oracle: DB Disk Group has minor state.
      • Oracle: DB Disk Group has mounted state.
      • Oracle: DB Disk Group has returned to normal.
      • Oracle: DB ASM Disk has changed Redundancy.
      • Oracle: DB ASM Disk State has returned to normal.
      • Oracle: DB ASM Disk has major State.
      • Oracle: DB ASM Disk has critical State.
      • Oracle: DB ASM Disk has minor State.
      • Oracle: DB ASM Disk Mode Status has returned to normal.
      • Oracle: DB ASM Disk has major Mode Status.
      • Oracle: DB ASM Disk has minor Mode Status.
      • Oracle: DB ASM Disk has changed Header Status.
      • Oracle: DB ASM Disk has minor Header Status.
      • Oracle: DB ASM Disk has major Header Status.
      • Oracle: DB ASM Disk Header Status has returned to normal.
      • Oracle: DB ASM Disk has critical Header Status.
      • Oracle: DB ASM Disk Mount Status has returned to normal.
      • Oracle: DB ASM Disk has major Mount Status.
      • Oracle: DB ASM Disk has critical Mount Status.
      • Oracle: DB ASM Disk has minor Mount Status.
      • Oracle: DB ASM Disk Writes Timed Out Has Returned To Normal.
      • Oracle: DB ASM Disk Writes Timed Out Exceeded Minor Threshold.
      • Oracle: DB ASM Disk Writes Failed Has Returned To Normal.
      • Oracle: DB ASM Disk Writes Failed Exceeded Minor Threshold.

      • Oracle: DB ASM Disk Space Exceeded Major Threshold.
      • Oracle: DB ASM Disk Space Exceeded Critical Threshold.
      • Oracle: DB ASM Disk Space Exceeded Minor Threshold.
      • Oracle: DB Tablespace Remaining Autoextend Returned To Normal.
      • Oracle: DB Tablespace Remaining Autoextend Fell Below Critical Threshold.
      • Oracle: DB Tablespace Remaining Autoextend Fell Below Major Threshold.
      • Oracle: DB Tablespace Remaining Datafiles Returned To Normal.
      • Oracle: DB Tablespace Remaining Datafiles Fell Below Critical Threshold.
      • Oracle: DB Tablespace Remaining Datafiles Fell Below Major Threshold.
