There is any plans from SL team to make automatic rebalancing of collector groups in certain interval  like 24 hrs once.? As of now its needs a manual intervention.

Hi All,I would like to know about the extended architecture in detail , the agent is connected to streamer .  How the streamer works on High availability on over the K8 ? Can we have two streamer url  if one is not working the agents communicates with other during planned maintenance or outages ?  

Can we have option to pull the monthly report for Minimum, Maximum and  Average usage for CPU and Memory . I have tried and pull the same by using template “Device Top Metrics”   Request you to please check and help .

Hi - I would like the use the system uptime to create an event for a Windows server reboot.  The Windows Server PowerPack seems to collects this value but can't find an event that uses system uptime.  Is it possible to create an event if the server has not been up for a time period like 15 minutes.Thank you  

We have planned for upgrade to v12.1.1 in our environment. As part of testing identified few Critical/Major issues in which functionality is not working as expected and have huge impact. On further verification found there are articles published about these defects identified post release of v12.1.1.Need Clarification if list of DEFECTS identified post any new release is consolidated in one repository which will be helpful for us to refer and accordingly plan for upgrade ?

Hello all, I just had this question posed to our team regarding config recovery. "Do you have any way of retrieving the configs for switches that have been deleted from SLRP please?"Is there a way to retrieve a backup of RestorePoint (and maybe restore to a temp location) from a specific point in time? If anyone has any advice or previous experience with this SL RestorePoint scenario, your input would be greatly appreciated!

Is it possible to share a complete overview for all the available Powerpacks in the group PowerPack Release Notifications?For instance weekly an update with the new releases (current way of working) and once in the month or bi-monthly an aggregated overview. With one complete overview it becomes easier to compare all your stacks with the lasted released powerpack and implement where needed. 

Our automated SL1/PowerFlow testing process involves creating new devices in SL1.We regularly clone ITSM/CMDB envs into the test environment and the issue is these envs have SL1 device IDs far in advance of the test SL1. This causes test breakage when creating a new SL1 device because some other device is more likely already in existence in the ITSM/CMDB.If the device ID difference range was only small then repeated dummy device creations works a treat but when the difference is in the thousands, this technique is not very useful.Is it possible to change the "next" device ID SL1 uses to create a new device? We would then be able to bring the test SL1 device ID into alignment with the cloned ITSM/CMDB. How can the device ID bump be performed programatically as ideally the entire ITSM/CMDB cloning process should be automated.Thanks, Michael

We're in the process of developing pipelines to provision and configure all our resources in AWS on a per client basis.  Among these resources are the SL1 collector and RP agent. Right now in order to request the AMI for SL1 we need to fill out the form at https://support.sciencelogic.com/s/request-amazon-ami after authenticating via the webpage.  Because of the login flow this has proven difficult to pass through the right information to authenticate and access the AMI request form where we can pass the form data to request the AMI on our AWS account.  I understand this is probably not a common case, but has anyone come across a way to accomplish anything similar?  The best I've been able to do so far is use Selenium to manage a browser logging in and navigating to the form page, but it doesn't lend itself well to the pipelines.For RestorePoint it seems like we still need to submit a case and request the AMI from support.  Is there any plans to add t

Has anyone automated creation/maintenance of device groups? Specifically automating add/remove of static members or adding/removing dynamic rules.

We have plans to implement Exchange v101,IIS v103,AD v101 Powerpacks. Hi,We have SharePoint 2013 installed and would like to monitor the application.  Is there a powerpack for SharePoint 2013 or other ways to monitor SharePoint 2013?  I looked at the one available to download.  The manual show it only supports 2010.NOTE: The Dynamic Applications in this PowerPack support SharePoint Server 2010 SE. Thanks

 With Powerflow most data are pretty easy to sync from SL1 to ITSM/CMDB, in this case ServiceNow. But now we have requirement that we should sync cloud device tags from SL1 to SN.The data from Azure virtual server, using Azure PP, is shown on SL1 like below, multiple key/value rows per device. So those are not easily stored into Attributes. And if I have understood correctly, quite a lot of tags used in cloud.Any ideas how these could be synced with PF into ServiceNow? 

Hi All,What happens when collectors has an communication issue with  central database for more than 2 hrs , because we have some event policy set to expire if the event didn't rigger for 60 mins . During this  network outage the existing alarms will be cleared if the collector doesn't send update about its polled devices?

Current name is <report>_mailadres/username_<timestamp>_<number>Is it possible to customize the mail subject?Current subject is Scheduled Report: <Report Name>We have multiple stacks. Appreciate if we can a stack identification into the mail subject. All thru the PHP, the MySQL and the templating is really powerful I am missing debug facilities. When a small typo is made the report is completed without data or complete broken.Please your view if we can improve the reporting capabilities.Thanks in advance.  

Hello SL1 Community,I accidently unaligned the Meraki Organization Discovery DA from the virtual Cloud Controller after I saw the Meraki Organization Discovery DA app align to devices that were not Meraki.After the virtual Cloud Controller has discovered a Meraki Organization, is there an issue if the Virtual Cloud Controller gets deleted or the Meraki Organization Discovery DA gets un-aligned from the Virtual Cloud Controller?We still see the Meraki Component devices collecting data, SL responded with:The only effect deleting the virtual cloud controller device or un-aligning those collections will have is that new organizations won’t be onboarded when they appear in Meraki and changes to existing Meraki Organization metadata, such as “name” won’t be updated either.This should not cause any problems for you, but we haven’t tested the effects of deleting or un-aligning these items. If you see a new Meraki Org not get discovered, then that might be related.

Are there any formal plans to expand SL1 compatibility with French language operating systems ?We have a new customer engagement that will benefit from such expanded compatibility. 

Hi All, We're seeing a bit of an uptick in customers moving to the cloud-delivered firewall management center from Cisco as opposed to traditional virtual FMCs.  This seems to be a trend with Cisco alongside things like Intersight becoming more prevalent, which the powerpack has already been developed for.  Is there any current intention (or possibly something I missed) to monitor Cisco Firewalls through cloud FMC?  Admittedly I haven't done much research yet into possible open API capabilities for this.

Hi All, As a default Sl1 is polling the interfaces with limited metrics , if i need to add few metrics additional is is possible to extend the internal collection? Basically i don't want to create a new DA and poll the interfaces for the limited metrics , with the same poll cycle i need to capture the additional details.
