Over the past year it has increased more and more as we get better at building business services and our internal / external customers want more out of them. To make business services a one stop solves everything solutions for people looking for a high level view of their services and applications we would like to see compliance brought into the page in some way. Showing devices which have security vulnerability's and risks     if you had external customers you may want to build them a different business service to look at if this information is not something you want shared but internally this becomes a real risk and would highlight when maintaining an application is / or is not taking place. I was hoping to get

Good afternoonWe are looking at event tuning within SL1 and are wanting to have different thresholds based on the drive, so for example with our file servers we are looking to tune the events so that if the c: drive is over 90% full it logs a minor and if it is over 95% it logs a major for the device. But then with the shared drives we would want them to alert at as 96% and 98%, as they are larger drives.Does anyone know if this is possible and how it would be set up, as from what we can see you can only have a set threshold for every diskThank You

Could you help me understand the background processes when I initiate a "Force Config Push" (e.g., by clicking the lightning bolt icon) vs what differs from the standard config push process?'What steps does the system execute during a "Force Config Push" to apply configuration changes to managed devices?If the configuration push process is disabled, will clicking "Force Config Push" still result in a complete and successful configuration update to the target device(s)?Thanks

Hello everyone,  We are removing the Meraki API v115 PowerPack from the product download portal as we have discovered it shipped with code that requests the "/api/v1/networks/<dependency>/topology/linkLayer" endpoint even though the collection objects that utilize that data have not been added to the PowerPack yet.  This was intended to be shipped "dark" so it could be flipped on easily in the future when topology mapping features in the platform are available to take advantage of the data. However, since they are enabled in v115, users with a large number of networks in Meraki may experience unnecessary API calls (1 call per network every 5 minutes) being made which can cause API rate limit issues and/or additional collector load that previously was not there. This behavior would be expected in the future should a user "opt-in" to this additional API overhead in order to collect and utilize this topology data, but as there is no functionality currently available to uti

To ensure that the deactivation or deletion of these accounts does not inadvertently affect system functionality, I am seeking confirmation on whether a query or report can be run that provides visibility into account activity and dependencies.Specifically:Identify historical usage of a user account within SL (e.g. dashboards, reports, scheduled tasks, integrations, or automated processes).Generate a report or dataset that highlights what functionality or items are tied to a given account.Use this information to safely assess whether an account can be removed without impacting operational workflows.I want to establish a controlled process for the removal of old user accounts while safeguarding against disruption to active services, monitoring, or reporting functions.Thanks

Hi all,I’m working on creating a schedule for the 'Sync Devices from SL1 to ServiceNow' application, and I’m trying to set up some custom parameters. Specifically, I want to configure custom settings for:- Include Org- Selected Device- Excluded DeviceI’ve written the code and tested it multiple times, but I’m having trouble getting it to work as expected.Has anyone successfully implemented custom parameters for these settings? I have 2 databases in an HA setup I see  Enable Cluster Maintenanceas one of the choices in coro_configcan I select this on both database and be able to do VMWare snapshots before doing upgrades and the databases will be in a "non writable state?"

Hi all!We're looking at some improvements in user policy management, and as we do this we'd like to understand more about how you all are using it.  So, a few questions: Are you using user policies for local accounts to manage the password fields (Password Strength, Password Expiration, Password Shadowing, Password Reset) through a user policy? Are you using user policies to switch local accounts to ldap/ad accounts through the user policy using the authentication method field? Are you using the default user policies or are you using custom policies? thanks in advance!

We need to retrieve the total number of alerts along with the Mean Time To Resolve (MTTR) and Mean Time To Acknowledge (MTTA) for those alerts. I have not been able to find a suitable dashboard or report for this. Could you please advise on how to obtain this information?

We have a new dashboard created that we are going to provide customer access to. I see an SL1 document indicating that we can create an access key to allow specific users only have access to this single dashboard. However, per the document the access key can only be assigned if the dashboard is a classic dashboard. Hi I'm trying to present a line chart for all disks on a windows server over the time period selected within a dashboard.  We can view a graph with the visualization set as forecast but no data can be found for a linechart.  It also only shows one value rather than for each disk. How can we show disk usage over time within a widget? 

We experienced an issue where user couldn't get the 'forgot password' e-mail through AP2, but received it fine from em7 classic web. Is there any differences in the configuration between the AP2/EM7, i would assume they both use the same mail process with config from postfix main.cf,  but is there any considerations we need to take into account that in some circumstances the forgot password might not work in AP2?Thanks

Hello all,  We will be working to evaluate and update the API call versions used in the Azure PowerPack later this year. However, there is one API call that is being deprecated by Azure 10/31/25 that may occur before the next release of the Azure PowerPack. An email was sent out by Microsoft notifying that one of the SQL API Endpoint Versions is being retired. This version of the SQL Database endpoint is only used for customer’s using the Germany Portal, all other portals (Commercial, US Gov, China) do not use this endpoint.
