Removal of old user accounts in SLI would like to know regarding the removal of unused user accounts within SL. To ensure that the deactivation or deletion of these accounts does not inadvertently affect system functionality, I am seeking confirmation on whether a query or report can be run that provides visibility into account activity and dependencies.Specifically:Identify historical usage of a user account within SL (e.g. dashboards, reports, scheduled tasks, integrations, or automated processes).Generate a report or dataset that highlights what functionality or items are tied to a given account.Use this information to safely assess whether an account can be removed without impacting operational workflows.I want to establish a controlled process for the removal of old user accounts while safeguarding against disruption to active services, monitoring, or reporting functions.Thanks

Hi all,I’m working on creating a schedule for the 'Sync Devices from SL1 to ServiceNow' application, and I’m trying to set up some custom parameters. Specifically, I want to configure custom settings for:- Include Org- Selected Device- Excluded DeviceI’ve written the code and tested it multiple times, but I’m having trouble getting it to work as expected.Has anyone successfully implemented custom parameters for these settings? Or is it even possible to override them with custom parameters in the current setup?Any help or guidance would be greatly appreciated!Thanks in advance!

I have 2 databases in an HA setup I see  Enable Cluster Maintenanceas one of the choices in coro_configcan I select this on both database and be able to do VMWare snapshots before doing upgrades and the databases will be in a "non writable state?"

Hi all!We're looking at some improvements in user policy management, and as we do this we'd like to understand more about how you all are using it.  So, a few questions: Are you using user policies for local accounts to manage the password fields (Password Strength, Password Expiration, Password Shadowing, Password Reset) through a user policy? Are you using user policies to switch local accounts to ldap/ad accounts through the user policy using the authentication method field? Are you using the default user policies or are you using custom policies? thanks in advance!

We need to retrieve the total number of alerts along with the Mean Time To Resolve (MTTR) and Mean Time To Acknowledge (MTTA) for those alerts. I have not been able to find a suitable dashboard or report for this. Could you please advise on how to obtain this information?

We have a new dashboard created that we are going to provide customer access to. I see an SL1 document indicating that we can create an access key to allow specific users only have access to this single dashboard. However, per the document the access key can only be assigned if the dashboard is a classic dashboard. Hi I'm trying to present a line chart for all disks on a windows server over the time period selected within a dashboard.  We can view a graph with the visualization set as forecast but no data can be found for a linechart.  It also only shows one value rather than for each disk. How can we show disk usage over time within a widget? 

We experienced an issue where user couldn't get the 'forgot password' e-mail through AP2, but received it fine from em7 classic web. Is there any differences in the configuration between the AP2/EM7, i would assume they both use the same mail process with config from postfix main.cf,  but is there any considerations we need to take into account that in some circumstances the forgot password might not work in AP2?Thanks

However, there is one API call that is being deprecated by Azure 10/31/25 that may occur before the next release of the Azure PowerPack. An email was sent out by Microsoft notifying that one of the SQL API Endpoint Versions is being retired. This version of the SQL Database endpoint is only used for customer’s using the Germany Portal, all other portals (Commercial, US Gov, China) do not use this endpoint. We are looking to update our expiring SL1 license but awaiting a maintenance window. What will happen if the license expires in SL1? Also, what does the system do if we happen burst above the current allowed license count? Thank  you

Hi,During the discovery and other interactions with a SNMPv3 configured device SL1 is using USM to retrieve the EngineID. The EngineID is used to set-up a secure connection as far as we can seen in our traces.SL1 is not using the EngineID from the USM discovery to store it in the CDB. SL1 will try to collect the EngineID as part of snmpEngineID.0 of the SNMP-FRAMEWORK-MIB [RFC3411].Not all devices (Avaya/some HP's, probably more) are supporting the snmpEngineID.0 of the SNMP-FRAMEWORK-MIB.The request is to expand the SNMPv3 EngineID process with a second method as USM. See RFC 5343 chapter 3.2 for more details.Alfred

Device sync has quite a mandatory configuration option about relations between SL1 devices vs Snow CIs. We have used that a lot but now struggling with some issue we noticed this "values" section.In documentation we can see this picture:which shows that there is part "values" and it is told that they are Additional Child Class Values. After discovering our Azure environment we noticed that by default the Storage account utilization is monitored and has events created. But we have 4 SMB file shares on a single storage account. We're looking to monitor the utilization of each file share individually to generate events. Right now we could potentially have a file share 100% utilized and not generate an event because the storage account utilization is not an issue. Is there a way to enable this without programming it into the existing power pack?
