Hello all,  We will be working to evaluate and update the API call versions used in the Azure PowerPack later this year. However, there is one API call that is being deprecated by Azure 10/31/25 that may occur before the next release of the Azure PowerPack. An email was sent out by Microsoft notifying that one of the SQL API Endpoint Versions is being retired. This version of the SQL Database endpoint is only used for customer’s using the Germany Portal, all other portals (Commercial, US Gov, China) do not use this endpoint. We are looking to update our expiring SL1 license but awaiting a maintenance window. What will happen if the license expires in SL1? Also, what does the system do if we happen burst above the current allowed license count? Thank  you

Hi,During the discovery and other interactions with a SNMPv3 configured device SL1 is using USM to retrieve the EngineID. The EngineID is used to set-up a secure connection as far as we can seen in our traces.SL1 is not using the EngineID from the USM discovery to store it in the CDB. SL1 will try to collect the EngineID as part of snmpEngineID.0 of the SNMP-FRAMEWORK-MIB [RFC3411].Not all devices (Avaya/some HP's, probably more) are supporting the snmpEngineID.0 of the SNMP-FRAMEWORK-MIB.The request is to expand the SNMPv3 EngineID process with a second method as USM. See RFC 5343 chapter 3.2 for more details.Alfred

Device sync has quite a mandatory configuration option about relations between SL1 devices vs Snow CIs. We have used that a lot but now struggling with some issue we noticed this "values" section.In documentation we can see this picture:which shows that there is part "values" and it is told that they are Additional Child Class Values. After discovering our Azure environment we noticed that by default the Storage account utilization is monitored and has events created. But we have 4 SMB file shares on a single storage account. We're looking to monitor the utilization of each file share individually to generate events. Right now we could potentially have a file share 100% utilized and not generate an event because the storage account utilization is not an issue. Is there a way to enable this without programming it into the existing power pack?

Hi,Encountered weird issue when trying to query MAC-address information with SNMP. With python2 version of this function, mac address information is returned as hex string as it should but when using python3 version, the same information is returning something other than hex string.Python3 version:Python2 version:Maybe some encoding issue with python3 version?

I was hoping to upload a large number of event policies to our ScienceLogic environment. Rather than going through the UI to do all of these manually, is there an API endpoint I can use to upload event policies? I have navigated a bit through the API Tool, and I do not see any endpoints that look like they would be the correct ones?

What access hooks in access keys can give me access to view api data for something like the following. Sorry because I am the major wrong-doer, I put quite many things in this post.Table widgets. What is the meaning of Aggergation in Metrics value. For me it seems whatever I choose from there the values are always the same, in this example above table widget shown Max and lower Min aggregations, and those values are not dependent of chosen time window, seems to be the last value, always.the Aggregation in table widgets. As I as a human (would like to) understand should show the Max and Min values of the metrics from the chosen time window. Am I just understanding it wrong?Index names in table widgets. In graph it shows those index names but I have not been able to show those names in table, just values. Is that Works-as-Designed or my mistake?Help in editing dashboards? Hi All,I have a Web Content monitor that is aligned to a blank Virtual Device. I want to chart the metrics that are in the Web Content monitor (availability, page size, download speed) in an AP2 dashboard. I'm just trying to get an initial table setup, but will probably setup a line graph later. Right now no matter what I search for in "Metrics and Properties" on the left column, I can't seem to find the Web Content metrics. Does anyone have any tips? Dashboard metric naming seems to be all over the place for some out of the box things.On top of that, just using the basic "Vitals > Availability" doesn't return any data.

Hi,In documentation is instructed that GQL mutation alignCustomAttribute requires ID to be provided to attribute field to specify which attribute you want to align. Seems that this field requires the attribute name and not the attribute id. Is it possible to update documentation so that it would be more clear that attribute name should be provided and not the id? We are using SL version 12.3.5.

I have a script that manages devices groups. The groups are simple, using a single rule, custom attribute SiteID = xxxx. Because the legacy API does not allow for the creation/application of the rules, I was directly manipulating the DB. We are moving to SAS - no more direct DB access. I need some GQL magic to create/apply a rule to a group.

This SyncPack addresses the following issues: Addressed an issue which prevented the interface sync GraphQL query from working if the SL1 AP2 version was 8.18.43-81 (JellyBean) or later. Addressed an issue that caused the device sync to fail due to the "EM71" region being overwritten. To address the issue, the "/api/v1/cache/dev-classes" API endpoint was updated to make the "default_dev_ class_id" and "servicenow_default_id" options configurable. We have a certain type of device that we are not allowed to do active SNMP monitoring, only traps. It sends us a heartbeat trap every minute as long as it is "up". Is there a way to make an event policy that alerts in the absence of an event? In this case, we would need to generate a critical event if the heartbeat hasn't been received for > 10 minutes. I currently have the heartbeat trap set as a "healthy" event policy. Apologies if there is some documentation about this topic that I have missed!
